I've spent another whole weekend at the College, working on things, but it's all worthwhile, lots of practise and experience! Not to mention that when I go home, I always have new "listening material" ie. I record 94.5 FM, the WAVE in St. Lucia, known as "St. Lucia's rhythm and soul"! It was an out-of-the-country radio station website/listening assignment & now, I'm SOOOOO hooked! But I don't have the internet at home so I record it at school to listen to at home. I think I love it because I'm fascinated with how different they do things from how radio is here, even though some of the music is still the same! 2nd Solo

Well, I just finished my second Saturday solo on CJIQ, thought I was really gonna make it through without any screw-ups this time, but . . . little interruption by Courtney and I didn't realize my mic was still on! I'm hoping that the song was loud enough that no one noticed however much of the conversation the mic might have picked up! Oh, well, I have to look at it as a good learning experience . . . and next time, LOCK THE DOOR to the studio! LOL!!! ;-)
